ABOUT KRISZTI

I'm a self-taught photographer based in Hungary. For me, photography is more than just a profession, that’s my passion. Beside photography, I love to spend time with my kids, walk with my irish setter, look for new adventures and discover new places with my husband.

Ever since I can remember, it was always important to me to find a way to express myself. Art has always been a help in this. It started with dance, continued with music, then I found photography. My love for photography formed side by side with my passion of travelling. During my university years, I was lucky enough to travel a lot, and during these trips  I started to experiment how to take better and more expressive photographs and my passion for it just grew and grew, so I started to feel and believe that this is my way. Eventually, after I have finished my phd as a biologist, I have decided to try myself as a photographer.

I am fascinated by the big moments of life, but also by the ordinary ones. I think that photography can be so powerful, because photographs can transport us back to a specific time and place and can remind us how we exactly felt in that moment.  For me, photography is also about connection, to get to know new people with different stories. So, beside that photography brings me to exciting new places and situations,  meeting with so much wonderful human beings is the cherry on the top.
